The Bowdoin College Finance Society is a student organization dedicated to introducing our members to various financial services.  We work closely with the college’s Career Planning Center to provide all members with the resources and knowledge they need to successfully leverage their liberal arts background and break into Wall Street. Our meetings are accessible to individuals with varying levels of understanding of the industry.

We offer the following activities:

_ weekly lectures on basic investing and corporate finance concepts

_ weekly discussion of market currents and history of major macro concerns

_ semi-annual spreadsheet modeling seminars taught by ‘Training The Street’ professionals

_ monthly conference calls and lunch meetings with Wall Street professionals

We hold weekly meetings on the 16th floor of Coles Tower at 7.30PM  every Thursday night.

The Bowdoin College Finance Society is headed by Hugo Tran ’13 and Ben Ziomek ’13.

We will be looking for enthusiastic underclassmen (Sophomores and Juniors) in the first few weeks of class to help us run the club’s activities and train for the coming academic year.

If interested, please contact Hugo at and/or Ben at and include a short paragraph explaining your interest in the Finance Society and detailing your ideas/plans for the coming years.
