“Haiti is crying. It is a very strong country, like many of us have pointed out. It is a very resilient people, but it is crying. It is calling out for all of us to help, so let’s answer the call.”

Haiti has certainly had its fair share of hardships through the past several hundred years. This earthquake, however, is arguably the worst thing to happen to Haiti in its history. Very few things are as rewarding as reaching out to those in need and ameliorating the situations in which they find themselves. We are being given the opportunity to take a leadership role in what has the potential to be a drastic effort to benefit the greater good.
