Brunswick Voting Districts

Understanding what districts you live in lets you know who your representatives are.  Town districts are relevant to elections of the Brunswick Town Council and School Board. Bowdoin residence halls are spread across several town districts. See Town of Brunswick District map to find which district you live in.

The state of Maine is divided into different sets of districts for state senate, state house of reps, and US House of Representatives. See each of those district maps here. The relevant districts for Bowdoin students are:

  • Maine House of Representatives: Nearly all Bowdoin students reside in district 50.
  • Maine State Senate:The entire town of Brunswick is part of district 24.
  • US House of Representatives:The entire town of Brunswick is part of district 1.
