Eisa:<\/b> We have a lot packed for tonight\u2019s meeting. We have the Constitution, which Elliott has worked hard on. Also, at last week\u2019s meeting the majority voted in favor of issuing a statement; something has been drafted to collectively look at later.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n COMMITTEE UPDATES:<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jonathan [Academic Affairs]: <\/b>We sent out the survey regarding syllabi being available during course registration. So far have received<\/span> 600 responses<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Vincent [SOOC]:<\/b> Will be opening up the re-chartering process for clubs soon. Will open the application form right before spring break and close it a week or two after break.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Max [SAFC]: <\/b>SAFC is very low on funds. Will have to send an email in a week or two telling\u00a0 Adding new clubs and rebounding from COVID. Then will have to work on fall allocations.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Harper [Student Affairs]: <\/b>Library snacks happening this Sunday. Received approval for ResLife to start testing laundry sheets in Coleman. Beginning conversations about Ivies and how to keep it on campus, keep it fun, and differentiate the two days.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nyla: [D&I]: <\/b>Nothing new to report. Will be putting out a statement about attacks on DEI, the White Supremacist Network, and considering talking about hate crimes as well. Will have a final draft this weekend and then send it out.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Angelica [Facilities and Sustainability]: <\/b>Going to try to make bus poster drafts regarding how to access transportation such as the Metro; supporting sustainability and greener transportation options.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oscar: <\/b>Also, having a dining meeting next Tuesday and will be sending email out. Found a vegan representative.<\/span><\/p>\n CONSTITUTION<\/b><\/p>\n Elliott:<\/b> For the amendments to the Constitution to pass, we need a \u2158 vote today and a \u2158 vote another time such as next week. Problems with the current Constitution include static structure, convoluted funding hierarchy, faculty committee representatives, voting rights, amending Constitution. The new structure would include four branches while the General Assembly and Executive Board remain similar; the Student Government Treasury would be a new branch. Will have a blind vote via Menti. 25 people are present tonight so need 20 to pass.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [MOTION TO VOTE]<\/span><\/p>\n [PROPOSAL PASSES]<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SPRING BREAK SHUTTLE<\/b><\/p>\n Vincent:<\/b> Decided on getting a 34-person vehicle to leave at 9am and a 56-person charter bus to leave at 1pm on Friday, 3\/7. Also, two Bowdoin vans will leave at 7am and 1pm on Saturday, 3\/8. There were the most optimal times to transport the greatest amount of people based on the survey responses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Elliott:<\/b> We received 91 responses, with 75 students heading to the jetport. The shuttle will be transported only to the jetport.
