Got to have a talk with DeRay last Tuesday and he talked about the role of class councils during his time at Bowdoin.<\/span><\/p>\n Angelica [Facilities and Sustainability]:<\/b> Going to represent BSG at the Earth Day activity this Friday. Rock painting as an activity.<\/span><\/p>\n Harper [Student Affairs]:<\/b> Talking about Ivies logistics. Only thing left is speakers. Will send an email this week giving all students the rundown.<\/span><\/p>\n Vincent [SOOC]:<\/b> Working on club rechartering process. Form still open until Friday, as well as the club census form<\/span><\/p>\n Jonathan [Academic Affairs]:<\/b> Met yesterday to present CEP with the syllabi initiative. So, the Exec Board reviewed applications and nominated Franco Ruocco for fall treasurer and Raghad Mohamed for programming director.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [APPOINTMENTS APPROVED BY \u2154 VOTE]<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n TCC GUIDELINES PUBLICATION:<\/b><\/p>\n Vincent:<\/b> Purpose is to finalize and publicize the guidelines to the Treasury Chartering Commission (TCC) to the BSG website. Document discusses College and BSG policy, general policies, managing your club, club contracts, rules for maintaining club charter, club sports, political activity policy, other chartering sources, the role of the TCC, and revoking a charter<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ELECTION RULES CLARIFICATION<\/b><\/p>\n Elliott:<\/b> Want to amend the Bylaws to clarify the definition of \u201cmass emailing\u201d to \u201cCampaigning through email using group aliases, mailing lists, and listserv, including those belonging to dorms, houses, classes, and clubs, is expressly prohibited.\u201d Difficult to make strict rules regarding what constitutes a mass email. Not a large enforcement organization, but want to clarify vagueness.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blake: <\/b>Want elections and campaigns to be as fair as possible. Sending an email out to a certain amount of people makes the playing field uneven<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alejandro:<\/b> What if each candidate is allowed one email to the whole grade saying who they are and what they\u2019re standing for?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Abigail:<\/b> Email makes sense to me as another avenue.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aidan:<\/b> Like Alejandro\u2019s idea. Levels the playing field and makes candidates and their statements more accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nate:<\/b> One reason we limit the number of emails sent to class lists is so you won\u2019t all get too many emails. Easily doable if you want it<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nyla:<\/b> Then there may be concerns of unfairness regarding whose email was sent first.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alejandro:<\/b> Could all be compiled to one email sent by BSG.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Elliott:<\/b> Maybe we should table this for next week.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n BUDGET 2025-2026<\/b><\/p>\n Harper:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nyla:<\/b> What was the merch at Cold at Coe this year and what is the value of having it again?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Harper:<\/b> Mugs and also one food truck, hot cocoa, and fire pits. Cost $1000 for the mugs. Partnered with WBOR to cover the rest<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Harper: <\/b>Was suggested to put forth the budget that you would want to see and would allow for the best BSG possible.
