then break into committees \u2013 15-20 mins to work on projects, touch base, divide responsibilities and tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New structure: used to apply to work on specific committee; now there is opportunity to join whatever you\u2019re interested in based on current projects; want there to be more flexibility<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Committee meeting time built into GA meetings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Motions: need to be seconded<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">E.g. motion to vote on a proposal<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Motion to limit debate if feel like going in circles; Unexcused absences may warrant check in with president.
