We post the discussion guides in order to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to give prospective participants and facilitators a taste of the sort of discussions we hold. While we create a new guide each year, we do reuse some activities and probes. Our suggestion? Only look if you&#8217;re on the fence about whether you want to participate. If you know you&#8217;re in, hold out and experience the new discussion guide fresh.<\/li>\n<li>to give other campus organizations ideas about an idea of how we work. If you&#8217;d like to collaborate with us, contact us at theundiscussed@gmail.com<\/li>\n<li>to give students at other institutions an example of what we&#8217;ve done for inspiration. Feel free to steal our good ideas and please let us know what you&#8217;ve done better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They aren&#8217;t up as a model of perfection; we know there&#8217;s a lot more that could be done. They aren&#8217;t up as a promise; although the format remains similar, every year is different.<\/p>\n<p>We post the findings for members of the Bowdoin community only. There&#8217;s good and bad in them, and we feel that you can only understand them with the context that comes with being a Bowdoin student.
