Session One: Introductions (90 min) <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Hot Potato<\/span>\n
        \n
      1. Toss around an object and have people say things about themselves every time they catch the object. When they throw it to somebody else, have them say the name of the person they throw it to. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      2. First time:\u00a0Name, Year, Major, Hometown<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. One thing that nobody in the group knows (undiscussed) <\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Keep tossing the object\u00a0and adding new facts until the mood feels relaxed. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. OR: Four Corners (where the name comes from, I don\u2019t know)<\/span>\n

        1. Create a list of prompts (something that I\u2019m proud of, somebody who makes me laugh, something that I\u2019m afraid of, a man and a woman who I love, something I want people to know about me, etc.) and have participants write out answers<\/span><\/li>\n

                            1. Before the session, generate a list of \u201ccringe-inducing\u201d thoughts that follow experiences. For example, walking by a table of African-American students in the dining hall and thinking, \u201cBlack people are always loud.\u201d <\/span><\/li>\n
