BSG Assembly Stands in Solidarity

With Students of Color at University of Missouri

The members of Bowdoin Student Government, convened in General Assembly, stand in solidarity and send their support to students of color at the University of Missouri, who have suffered from systemic oppression prevalent on their campus and who have fallen victim to racist acts and received numerous death threats.

The General Assembly condemns the actions of those who are responsible for the death threats directed towards students of color and activists at the University of Missouri.

To all of those affected, the members of the Bowdoin Student Government, speaking on behalf of the student body of Bowdoin College, applaud your strength. Your work inspires us to continue combating inequality within our own institution. We support you, and we will not let you be silenced.

Adopted by the General Assembly: 11 November 2015.
