Bowdoin’s Free Streaming Services
Bowdoin pays for xfinity stream, a cable streaming service. This xfinity subscription includes access to HBO’s MAX. To use either of them, you must be connected to Bowdoin’s WiFi or VPN. Click here to learn how to use the VPN.
Accessing Xfinity
Xfinity on Laptop or Desktop
- Click the link here.
- Click “sign in” in the upper right
- Click “Xfinity On Campus” below the typical prompt
- Find Bowdoin in the list of schools and follow Okta’s sign-in process
Xfinity on TV
- On a Roku Smart TV, download the “Xfinity Stream” app.
- Click “Xfinity On Campus” below the typical prompt
- Find Bowdoin in the list of schools and follow Okta’s sign-in process
Xfinity on Phone or Tablet
- Download the “Xfinity Stream” app.
- Sign in using “xfinity on campus” option.
- Find Bowdoin in the list of schools and follow Okta’s sing-in process.
Accessing HBO’s MAX
Acessing HBO’s MAX streaming service is easier.
- On any device’s MAX sign-in page, use the “sign in with TV provider” option.
- Find Xfinity. Click that cable provider.
- Login to Xfinity with the “Xfinity On Campus” option below the normal Xfinity sign-in prompt
- Find Bowdoin in the list of schools and click. Follow Okta’s sign-in process.
