Hello freshmen, Miscellania would like to formally welcome you to Bowdoin! We all remember our very first days as Bowdoin freshmen; it’s a very exciting as well as busy time. Get ready for a year full of great times and lots of fun! We are so incredibly excited to meet each and every one of you. For those of you who just can’t wait to jump into the a cappella scene, have no fear! There will be a recruitment concert sometime the second week of September in which you will be able to hear all of the a cappella groups sing and get a better feel for each group; make sure to keep an eye out for us! We will be holding auditions shortly after that so be sure to check back for more details.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Christina Sours at firstname.lastname@example.org or Tina Davis at email@example.com, they would be more than happy to talk to you!
You can also check out our Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram for more information.
Once again, welcome to Bowdoin, and we hope you have an amazing journey here!

Our first gig of the semester will be on the road in Wilton, CT (hometown of Emily Tucker, Missy ’15). An Evening of A Cappella is an annual benefit concert for the Wilton Playshop, New England’s longest continually-run non-profit community theater. Miscellania will perform alongside three other a cappella groups from NYU, Cornell, and Columbia. We are so excited to help promote & raise money for the arts.
If you’re near to Wilton, CT, come out and support the performing arts! Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for students and seniors. We will be selling our *NEW CD* for $10. Get yours before they sell out!
If you are a Miscellania alum and plan on attending, please email Adrienne at email@example.com . We would love to meet you!

Welcome back, Bowdoin Polar Bears! Here’s to a great spring semester.
Happy Holidays from Miscellania. We will see you this Spring Semester!
Miscellania had a great start to the holiday season, with concerts in the community and at Bowdoin. We sang at the Pejepscot Historical Society, the Maine Maritime Museum, and at the Bowdoin Holiday A Cappella Concert. We had a blast singing Christmas & holiday music, as well as a few new songs!
Holiday A Cappella Concert 2014
Every year we sing with the Meddiebempters in an annual concert – Meddiellania! We had a blast putting together event posters, performing, and hanging out with the Meddies. Thanks for everyone who came out to hear us sing at Ladd House.
We had a great time performing for our family members over Family Weekend. Check out our YouTube for videos from the performance!
Miscellania was honored to perform for the Board of Trustees along side the Bowdoin College Longfellows over homecoming weekend. Go UBears!
We had such a great time singing with the Bowdoin College Longfellows at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art on Friday, September 26th. This was the first performance for our new members!
