Our team is open to members of all genders and experiences. Anyone can curl, whether you’ve never been on ice or you have curled all your life, our roster is open. The majority of our team came to college with little or no experience, and then go on to have successful college curling careers. We have over 70 members involved in our program and around 25 competitive curlers.

Our Volunteer Advisor:
Douglas Coffin began curling at the Belfast Curling Club in 1980. Maine College Curling, started in 2009 with nudging from a Bowdoin student, is open to any college student in Maine. Douglas also helps other teams from Maine, including Unity College, University of Maine at Orono, and Colby College. Practices are Sunday afternoons from early November to late March; the next Maine College Crash Spiel is Jan. 25-26, 202o and is open to all colleges. Douglas is an inscriptional hand letter cutter in stone and has a studio in Belfast, Maine.
