Following up on the successful Executive Team retreat this past fall, we hosted BSG’s first assembly retreat this Saturday at Schiller. It was a beautiful and peaceful day at Schiller. We spent the morning building community and reflecting on our work during the first semester. After a spirited game of charades, we shifted to a broader discussion of what each committee had accomplished and outlined goals for the spring semester.
Each committee set out an ambitious schedule and fielded questions from the assembly about specific initiatives and projects. It was great to see so much opportunity for collaboration between committees–a trend we hope to build upon in the Spring. With the changes to the Constitution occurring this year, we’re hoping to ensure that future retreats happen on an annual basis!
